We spent 1 night in an impeccably clean room with views of the harbour. This was a marvellous location just off Ilfracombe and Woolacombe, and the rear garden. Tried some nice meals at Scallywags, located minutes away from the hotel. Rewritten Review: Our stay at Mellstock House was fantastic! the room was spotless and had a beautiful view of the harbour. the location was perfect, close to Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, and a lovely rear garden. We also enjoyed delicious meals at Scallywags, just a short walk from the hotel.

I was very impressed with our double room at Mellstock House - it had a fabulous view! The staff were excellent and really decent. They offer a free wake-up service and ironing facilities. The location is ideal, being close to shops, pubs, and the beach. There are several local pubs nearby, as well as easy access to the South West Coast Path. You can also take a short walk to Newberry Valley Park.
